About Us
PCC is where kids GROW and LEARN to SERVE and LOVE God! WE desire to be a place where kids can come and have fun learning about God in a loving and safe environment that offers a variety of activities and events. We offer a ministry that provides a strong foundation for children, rooted in God’s word, and strive to challenge our children to take ownership in their walk with God in their daily lives. Our children are the future of the church, and the ministries and programs we provide for them are vital to the life of PCC.
CORE VALUES
Through our core values, we believe that we are training and raising up kids that can walk with Jesus in their everyday lives; at home, at school, with friends and family, wherever they are.
GROW | Romans 12:1-2
Our children are growing and developing every day, and in today’s society it seems to be happening at an even faster rate. At PCC, we desire to walk alongside kids in their journey as they discover the world around them in new ways, empowering them to “not be conformed to this world, but [to] be transformed…so that [they] may discern what is the will of God, what is good, acceptable and perfect.”
LEARN | Colossians 3:16-17
It is our responsibility as parents and the church to teach our children the Word. We must provide experiences where kids are challenged to learn more about who God is and what He wants to do in their lives. Through hands-on service projects, applicable and age-appropriate lessons, an encouraging and loving environment, and accountability of peers, our children are able to learn through all that we do. Our goal is that children will learn and grow to “Let the word of Christ dwell in [them]” in all that they are and all that they do.
LOVE | Matthew 7:12
Love is the basis of who we are as Christians, as we are called by Jesus to, “do to others as you want them to do to you.” We know that without love, we have nothing. Teaching children what it means to love as Jesus loved us is a value we uphold as one of our highest standards. This includes learning how to love ourselves, others, God, and His creation.
SERVE | 1 Peter 4:10
As we learn and grow in our relationship with God, it is clear that we, as followers of Christ, are called to serve others. Our desire for each child to, “use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” We make sure to demonstrate multiple service opportunities that serve our church, our community, and our world.
