Special Events
There are many events throughout the year that celebrate our fellowship and community as a church family. All events are open to children and their parents in our church, as well as the community. Visit our calendar to see what special events are on the horizon.

EASTER EGG HUNT
Palm Sunday – April 17, 2011 | between 9:00 and 10:30am services
In the Spring, we host our annual Easter Egg Hunt for our children. Each year we come together following worship, and fellowship together as families have a blast with the kids scurrying rapidly trying to find all the “hidden” eggs.
PCC TALENT SHOW
As summer approaches, all the talent comes out for an all out celebration of giftings and creativity for our church talent show at the end of May. This is a great time to enjoy a potluck meal and plenty of laughs with your church family. This is another great event for all ages, young and old, to come and celebrate and appreciate they many gifts and talents God has blessed us with.
ALL-CHURCH PICNIC
Labor Day Weekend | following Sunday morning worship
As summer ends, we celebrate together with our PCC All-Church Picnic, where we enjoy delicious catered or barbequed food, games, carnival treats, live entertainment, and (most importantly) togetherness. This has been a cherished, intergenerational event that brings our entire church family together for a fun afternoon in the sun (well, most years).
CHRISTMAS FAMILY AFFAIR
First Saturday in December | 5:30pm | Fellowship Hall
Each Christmas season, we host our annual Christmas Family Affair that is for young families from our church and our community to come and enjoy an evening of Christmas craft-making, while enjoy time with special friends and yummy treats. As a tradition at PCC for over 25 years, this event fills our Fellowship Hall with the joy and spirit of Christmas. There is always plenty to do as children and families travel from table to table making an array of Christmas crafts and decorations.
SERVICE PROJECTS
Throughout the year, Children’s Ministries also participates in several service projects that benefit those in need within our community and throughout the world. Through our Sunday morning and Wednesday nights programs our children get to practice what it means to give of yourself to those in need, whether through money, time, or gifts. We always invite families and guests to participate with us in these projects.
