Sunday Mornings

Nursery

Birth – 3 years old   |   next to the Sanctuary   |   during 9:30 & 10:30 services

We have many wonderful volunteers for our nursery who are committed to offer a safe, loving and fun environment. This allows the parents to worship without worry, knowing that their child is taken care of. Our nursery provides an environment that encourages play time with others, with volunteers who are loving and caring to each child that comes through our doors!

Sunday School

4 years old – 6th grade   |   children’s classrooms   |   during 9:30 & 10:30 services

Each Sunday, we begin Sunday School as one big group. To start our morning off right, together we worship through song, present our offering, and pray with one another. This gives our children the experience of what it means to be the body of Christ together. Afterwards, we split into our two separate classrooms, where we are able to offer a more intimate and age-appropriate lesson to each class, Covenant Kids and Testament Travelers. We invite you to join us this year as we Journey with the Israelites in the Old Testament, discover the answer to “Who is Jesus?” through the gospels, and learn how God comes alive in us today through the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Covenant Kids
4 years old – 1st grade

Our younger children will experience God through many age-appropriate ways, such as; singing, prayer, crafts, games, and snack. Each week the children will learn about the monthly Bible Story, practice memorizing the monthly Challenge Verse, and discover how God’s word applies to their lives today. We offer a variety teaching styles as we use the rotational model, to encourage multiple modes of learning. This includes; creative drama, arts & crafts, Bible skills & games, and video.

Testament Travelers
2nd – 6th grade

For our older children, we offer an involved, hands-on curriculum that challenges kids to take on their faith as their own. Each week kids dig deep into the monthly Bible Story, memorize Scripture together, and pray for each other. There are various teaching methods and hands-on activities that keep kids engaged. These include; creative drama, arts & crafts, Bible skills & games, and video. Through this rotational style of learning, children are given the opportunity to understand the depth of God’s word and to experience the scriptures in different ways, allowing the stories to seep in and relate to each of them on a personal level.
