Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
December 24, 2010
7:00pm | In Sanctuary
We invite you to join us for our annual Christmas Eve Service. We gather together in our Sanctuary, as multiple generations, for a worship service that will prepare all of our hearts on the eve of our Savior’s birth. We will provide activity packets for children who may have a hard time sitting still through the whole service. We will also open up our Nursery for family’s with little ones who may get fussy during the service. Please feel free to use our Nursery to calm your child, change diapers, or simply offer a quiet place for them. Please note that we will not provide volunteers for childcare during this service.

For all children involved in this year’s Christmas performance, “A Baby Changes Everything”, we have our MANDATORY dress rehearsal coming up. All children need to attend this practice so that can get comfortable with the choir and orchestra. The children will be rehearsing first, to allow families to leave as soon as possible. Please contact Heather Orduna if there are any questions or concerns about this rehearsal.

PCC Christmas Presentation Rehearsals
October-December
Sundays after 10:30am service | In Sanctuary
This year, children are invited to participate in our annual PCC Christmas Presentation. The children will be singing a medley of well-known Christmas carols, accompanied by an orchestra. Rehearsals will be held every Sunday, following the 10:30am worship service. Rehearsal time will only be about 20 minutes each week, as children practice the songs gathered around the piano. Our goal is to have regular practices with our children, but not to be practicing a great length for long periods of time. We will be accepting enrollment of children through the month of October. Rehearsals begin Sunday, October 17th. Please contact Toni Brosius, choir director, at 714.838.2837 to enroll your child(ren) in this program.

Operation Christmas Child–Packing Boxes
November 7th & 10th, 2010
During children’s programs | In Children’s Classrooms
Throughout the month of October we are collecting items for our Operation Christmas Child campaign. We have a collection bin in our Children’s Classrooms that is waiting to be filled with items we can pack in our shoeboxes for this year’s event. Please join us on Sunday, November 7th or Wednesday, November 10th when we will be packing our shoeboxes together. This is a great opportunity for children to be hands on with giving and serving other children in need around the world. If you would like more information on Operation Christmas Child or the supporting organization, Samaritan’s Purse, please visit www.samaritanspurse.org .
