At PCC, we believe that our ministry is carried out by the entire community, not just a few. As such your contribution to achieving our vision is essential. There are many opportunities to serve those inside and outside of the church. Here are a few volunteer positions that we especially need right now:
Sunday School Teachers
Description: Pick a rotation/learning style that is of interest to you: art, games, drama, video, music. You don’t even have to miss church. Attend one service and teach the other. Minimal lesson preparation required. All materials/supplies are provided. Frequency: Monthly Contact: Natalie Pierce
Nursery Volunteers
Description: Play with and comfort our babies and toddlers while their parents worship. You don’t even have to miss church. Attend one service and help in the nursery the other. Win! Win! No preparation/previous experience required. Frequency: Once a month Contact: Heather Orduña
Children’s Wednesday Night Volunteers
Description: Assist lead teacher with group discussion and activities as well as dinner help, set up and clean up. Have fun assisting games and activities and developing relationships. No lesson preparation necessary. Frequency: Weekly Contact: Heather Orduña
Student Ministry Volunteers
Description: Work with the youth of our church. Assist the ministry in various ways, especially by mentoring and hanging out with students. Frequency: Weekly Contact: Daniel Orduña
Gardeners to grow food for the needy
Description: Adopt a small plot of land on our property on which to grow fruits and vegetables for the needy in our community. All gardening is organic. No previous experience necessary, just a passion to care for our neighbors. Frequency: As needed to maintain your plot Contact: Scott Williams
PowerPoint Volunteers
Description: Help us run PowerPoint once a month during either the 9:00 or 10:30am services. Frequency: Once a month Contact: Jeff Farless
